Dr Darren Paterson is an Australian-trained orthopaedic surgeon with over 25 years of surgical experience. He specialises in hip and knee surgery, including both primary and complex revision joint replacements.
Born and raised on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Dr Paterson provides care across Sydney, the Northern Beaches, Central Coast, and South Coast regions of NSW. He is committed to delivering evidence-based surgical treatment with a focus on individualised care tailored to each patient’s needs.
Dr Paterson has completed prestigious international subspecialty training, including:
- A Harvard Hip and Knee Arthroplasty Fellowship at Brigham and Women’s and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, USA
- A Hip Arthroplasty Fellowship at the renowned Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Centre in Exeter, UK
- A Paediatric Orthopaedic Hip Fellowship at Shriners Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon, USA
